Most Egyptian or middle-eastern drums may look the same but a few key points make for the best quality drum. Firstly, check the shape- our drums are premium casts (not cheap imitations). Second, check that the rim is screwed into brass threads and NOT screwed straight into the cast. Third, check the finish- no scratches or casting imperfections. And most importantly - check the sound!
