Desert Beats is an instructional CD for beginners that takes the listener through a complete course of drumming. Tarek talks the student through each of ten rhythms and then increases the speed and adds some improvisation to demonstrate how the rhythm would typically sound. Once you have become proficient in the basic beats, you can play along with Tarek and Ian.
